Hi Ken,
In the case of Fast Track, Clause 13.13 If the proposed standard
is accepted and published, its maintenance will be handled by
JTC 1 (really the assigned SC)
In the case of PAS, Clause 14.4.3.14 If the proposed standard is
accepted, it will be published following ISO and IEC standing
copyright and other IPR policy. Its maintenance will be handled
either by JTC 1 or by JTC 1 designated maintenance group of the
PAS Submitter in accordance with JTC 1 rules.
Hope this clarifies,
Lisa

Subject: Question of long-term maintenance of Fast Track and PAS
submissions
Hello again, Lisa,
I was asked at the Seoul plenary session about the procedures for
long-term maintenance of ISO standards created by both Fast Track and
PAS submissions. Is the maintenance of these the responsibility of
the submitter, or does a designated working group of the subcommittee
take on the maintenance of the standard once it has been finalized?
This wasn't clear to me in the Directives ... can quote chapter and
verse for me where this might be explained so I can cite it for others?
Thanks for your guidance!
