WG3 expresses its support for the W3C's initiative in setting up a task force to address the issue of RDF/Topic Maps interoperability and encourages the active participation of members of the Topic Maps community. WG3 further suggests that SC34 instruct its chairman to propose the establishment of a joint committee between JTC1 and the W3C.
The next WG3 meeting will be held on May 20-22 2005 in Amsterdam,
Netherlands, in conjunction with IDEAlliance's
XTech 2005 conference.
The following issues are expected to be the main topics of discussion: TMQL,
TMCL, Topic Maps Parts 4 (Canonical XTM) and 5 (Reference Model), and RDF/TM
Interoperability.
