JTC 1/SC 34 requests national bodies propose working group convenors to the Secretariat by October 1, 2004.

JTC 1/SC 34 directs the Secretariat to revise the Program of Work, Target Dates and Project Editor Assignments and post it as SC 34 N519. SC34 urges its WGs and NBs to keep the Secretariat informed of changes to the information in this document.

JTC 1/SC 34 expresses its appreciation to the IDEAlliance for hosting the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of SC 34, at the XML Europe 2004 Conference in Amsterdam.
JTC1/SC 34 thanks Ontopia for providing a projector for the WG3 meeting and opening plenary.
JTC 1/SC 34 notes the understandable absence of Dr. James Mason for the first time in many years and is looking forward to his continuing contribution.
JTC1/SC 34 thanks Mr. Ken Holman for the support he provided at the SC 34 meeting and in preparation for the meeting and for filling in for our absent chairman.
