Activity Report for APL Working group, JTC1 / SC22 / WG3
2004-08-15

There is one topic on which to report:
        (1) APL Character Repertoire for 8485 and 13751.

To review, there are two APL Standards
         IS 8485:1989 APL
         IS 13751:2000 APL Extended

Both have already expeienced the benefit of there
being even a DIS for the APL Character Repertoire.
The APL Character Repertoire will be and part of each
of the two APL standards, is in final typo-correction stage.
It now being converted from scanned pages to a domument
available either as HTML or PDF. It is planned for
submission it ITTF before the end of October, 2003.
Working Group plans for future work

The APL Working Group plans to keep a watching
brief, and is willing to respond to the needs
of APL users and or implementors who may need
interpretation of existing standards as well
as the APL Character Repertoire.

There were no physical meetings during the past
year, and there are no meetings planned during
the coming year.
