The American National Standards Institute has announced that effective 1
January 2000, the JTC 1/SC 22 Secretariat responsibilities will be
transferred from Mr. William Rinehuls to Ms. Marisa Peacock of ANSI staff.
Ms. Peacock has been with ANSI for over seven years and currently
administers the Secretariats of JTC 1/SC 11 (Flexible Magnetic Media) and
SC 34 (Document Description and Processing Languages), as well as ISO/TC
31 (Tyres, rims and valves), 104 (Freight Containers) and 214 (Elevating
Work Platforms).

Effective 1 January 2000, please make the necessary changes to any
distribution lists and direct all inquiries and correspondence to Ms.
Peacock at the following address:
