This request was reviewed at the SC 22 Plenary. It was determined by SC 22
members that a liaison should not be established at this time for several
reasons. These included the fact that a statement of benefits was not
included, that the liaison representative from SC 22 should be initiated
within SC 22 and the fact that the request was received on the eve of the SC
22 Plenary and therefore did not allow for sufficient review time. The SC
22 Secretariat will contact SC 36 and inform them of this decision.

At the 2002-03 SC36 Plenary in Adelaide, SC36 established Mr. Frank Farance
as liaison to SC22, and SC36 is requesting him to be the liaison in the
opposite direction.
