Discussion:
The namespace posix is made reserved by N2667.
It is clear in the paper that only ::posix is intendedly reserved, but the current normative wording is not clear enough on this (see also LWG 3926).[2023-05-24; Reflector poll]
Set priority to 3 after reflector poll.
Proposed resolution:
This wording is relative to N4944.
Modify 16.4.5.2.2 [namespace.posix] as indicated:
-1- The behavior of a C++ program is undefined if it adds declarations or definitions to top-level namespace posix or to a namespace within that namespace
posixunless otherwise specified. The top-level namespace posix is reserved for use by ISO/IEC/IEEE 9945 and other POSIX standards.
