WG3 accepts the disposition of comments in document WG3/COP-1RR, and instructs the project editor to prepare the text for the final CD of 6937 and forward it to the SC2 secretariat for further processing with unchanged target dates. WG3 instructs the project editor to prepare the text of the revision in the form of a corrigendum and send it to the convener for circulation to WG3 by 1999-12-01 for a one month comment period (using e-mail). WG3 instructs the project editor to further prepare the text of the draft Corrigendum to 10367, accommodating the comments during the review period, and forward it to SC2 secretariat for processing as a Technical Corrigendum to ISO/IEC 10367, with a schedule of DCOR: 2/2000; COR: 6/2000.
RESOLUTION M15.3 (Revision of 2375):
Unanimous
ALIGN="JUSTIFY">WG3 instructs the project editor to create a revised text of WD for revision of 2375 taking into account the extensive discussion at meeting 15, and distribute to WG3 for comments (using e-mail) ending 1999-11-01. WG3 further instructs the project editor to prepare the text for a CD for revision of 2375 accommodating the review comments, and forward it to the SC2 secretariat for further processing with unchanged project schedule.
RESOLUTION M15.4 (8859-16 Latin 10):
Negative from US and Netherlands; Sweden Abstained
WG3 has considered document N482 containing the NP ballot results. The negative ballots from Sweden, Finland and US on question 1 could not be accommodated. WG3 nominates Mr. Michael Everson as the project editor and requests confirmation from SC2 by a letter ballot. WG3 requests the permission of SC2 to conduct a concurrent registration and FCD ballot on 8859-16. WG3 further instructs its provisional project editor to create the text of FCD 8859-16 based on the WD in document N475, editorial comments in document N482, and other editorial-related concerns raised during the meeting, and forward it to the SC2 secretariat for concurrent CD registration and FCD ballot. The schedule for the project is as follows:
WD: 10/1999; FCD: 11/1999; FDIS: 09/2000; IS: 02/2001.
