RESOLUTION M14.01 (WD on 6937 revision):
Unanimous

With reference to the WD on Revision of 6937 in document N454, WG 3 instructs its project editor to prepare the CD text by the end of October 1998, taking into account all comments received at this meeting and any further comments from NBs by 15 of October 1998. WG 3 further instructs its convener to forward the CD text to SC 2 secretariat for further processing and to ITU-T for comments. New target dates will be provided by the convener.

RESOLUTION M14.02 (Review of registration proposals):
Canada, Denmark, Japan, Ireland, Poland, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, Greece and the UK in favour; US abstains

WG 3 advises its experts to assist in preparing revised registration proposals as needed based on initial set of comments received through the SC 2 review procedure and comments received at this meeting.

RESOLUTION M14.03 (Procedures for character set registration):
Canada, Denmark, Japan, Ireland, Poland, Finland, Netherlands, Greece, US and the UK in favour; Sweden abstains

WG 3 accepts the recommendations from the US national body contained in document N469, and instructs its convener to forward the document to SC 2 for endorsement and to the Registration Authority for consideration.

RESOLUTION M14.04 (Response to Netherlands letter to JTC 1):
Unanimous

WG 3 authorizes the convener to convene a small email ad hoc (with participation from Messrs. Erkki Kolehmainen, Umamaheswaran, Karl-Ivar Larsson, Mike Ksar) to prepare a response to SC 2 N3144 (letter from the Netherlands to JTC 1).

RESOLUTION M14.05 (Appreciation of Project Editors):
By Acclamation

WG 3 acknowledges with thanks the work done by the project editors and assisting editors of ISO/IEC 8859 parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, and 15 -- which have all been sent to ITTF for final publication recently.

RESOLUTION M14.06 (Program of Work):
Unanimous

WG 3 instructs its convener to prepare the modified program of work for WG 3 projects based on changes in the target dates made at meeting 14, and submit it to the SC 2 secretariat.

RESOLUTION M14.07 (Meeting schedule):
Unanimous

WG 3 accepts the following meeting schedule:
Meeting 15 - 1999-09-27--28, Copenhagen, Denmark (following the WG 2 meeting)

RESOLUTION M14.08 (Appreciation to the host):

WG 3 thanks its host, the British Standards Institution, and its staff, especially Miss. Bernadette Shine, for hosting the meeting, and for providing excellent secretarial and administrative support. WG 3 also acknowledges with thanks the help provided by Mr. Bruce Paterson in organizing the meeting.
