MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT
 
 
Dear WG3 member,
 
ISO/IEC JTC1/SC2/WG3 will hold its 13th meeting in conjunction with the meetings of WG2 and the SC2 Plenary. The U.S. National Standards Body is hosting the meeting at the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, Washington. The venue and logistic information is attached in separate documents. Mr. Michel Suignard of Microsoft is the contact point for logistics issues regarding the meeting.
 
WG 3 will be meeting starting at 14.00 p.m. Friday, 20 March 1998, will continue on Saturday, March 21, and will conclude on Monday 23, March 1998 at afternoon.
 
The objective of this meeting is to continue the WG 3 program of work. The agenda is included in this document and will also be made available via our website (http://www.dkuug.dk/JTC1/SC2/WG3). Please note that that the ballot resolutions on DIS 8859-2,3.5.9 and on proposed 8859-15 (Subdivision proposal and Combined CD registration and FCD consideration) will be discussed during the meeting.
 
The documents will be sent to you by separate mail (courier service), but they will also be available through our website, by mid February.

Following are the arrangements for the SC2 and WG2/WG3 meetings.

Our host at Microsoft, Michel Suignard, made hotel arrangements at the Marriott Courtyard in Bellevue, the rate is a very reasonable $87 (+tax) per day. There will also be transportation from the hotel to the meeting venue. There is a special web page (in attachment) that you can be used for hotel registration.

Meeting schedules:

 
WG2 will meet starting at 9:00 on Monday, 16 March 1998 and conclude on Friday, 20 March 1998 at noon or sooner if possible. WG3 and SC2 plenary meeting times and schedules will be posted separately. The meeting room is reserved for the whole week of March 16th (Monday to Saturday) and the 3 first days of the next week (23, 24, and 25).
