Some of you may be interested to know that a new book on Fortran 90,
in German, has just been published: "Fortran 90 Referenz-Handbuch",
Wilhelm Gehrke (Hanser Verlag). It weighs in at 964 pages and costs
the equivalent of about $100. Basically, it is an informal rendering
of the complete standard with some commentary and no attempt to
steer readers towards a particular style. Of note is an almost complete
translation of Section 13 (interesting copyright question). At first
sight it seems quite complete and is up-to-date with the final
version of ISO 1539.
