May I suggest that you also ask for volunteers from 

          comp-fortran-90@mailbase.ac.uk

A few months ago, there was a lot of discussion of the topic. Or, at
least I think there was, but am not quite sure what you mean by 
'interoperability'. I think it would be very helpful to have a 
definition.
