WG5 has appointed a subgroup to investigate interoperability. A report
is due by Jan. 31, 1995. We should probably get this going, else we
shall have to make New Year's resolutions to get this done quickly.

WG5 has kindly volunteered the following people for the committee:
Keith Bierman, Peter Griffiths, Jamie Shiers, and me (kindly
volunteered as convenor).

I'd like to invite anyone interested in this area to participate. Your
participation can be to actively work on this project, or just to
receive the group's email. Please let me know if you'd like to be
added to the email list for this group, and your level of participation.

Kurt, are you able to maintain a reflector for this?

Keith, can you ask Dave Seberger and Kelly O'Hair to participate?
They've both got useful experience. If they're hesitant to
participate, remind them that I'm only $49 and 2 hours by air away from
them and as mean as ever. :-)

I'm going to see if I can round up some OLE expertise. Can someone of
the UNIX persuation round up somebody who speaks COBRA? Is there some
other thing out there? Something from IBM?

Thanks for your support.
