From: J. Martin
Subject: Results of Ballot on Corrigendum 2

Comments returned with the ballots will be made available in a WG5 document.
After carefully reading all the comments, I arrived at the following results:

	  30 items passed without change
10 additional items will pass if editorial changes are made
9 items are returned to X3J3 for further work

The items that passed are: 0b, 11, 39, 71, 73, 76, 77, 89, 92, 97, 102, 106,
108, 111, 112, 113, 116, 117, 126, 128, 130, 131, 132, 133, 144, 150, 151, 152,
157, 170.

Items that need editing with the source of the required edit in parentheses are:

	29 (Rolison)
33 (Japan - add to answer 3, "The program has access to both F1 and F2
                    by their specific names."
        75 (Rolison)
	82 (Rolison)
	93 (Rolison)
	99 (Japan)
       105 (Shepherd)
       123 (Rolison)
124 (Japan - a change is needed to the edit because * indicates
assumed size - not an upper bound)
       153 (Moss, Reid)

Items returned to X3J3 with the source of the rejection in parentheses are:

	 4
        30 (Griffiths)
	54 (Rolison)
	58 (Reid, UK)
	87 (Gorelic)
       100
       127 (Griffiths, Japan)
       129
       155 (Reid)

I believe some of the returned items could be repaired and approved by WG5 at
its Edinburgh meeting, so I suggest delaying Corrigendum 2 until that time.

In addition, the following items should be added to X3J3 standing document 008
which contains "Editorial enhancements for future draft revisions":

1. Disambiguate the use of "keyword".

2. Consider a different organization of Section 13 (there is already an item
about MERGE in section 5 of 008).

3. Add the edit suggested by Gorelik in a comment on defect item 76.

4. Add an explanation along the lines of the Rolison comment on defect item 92.

Furthermore, some member body (or WG5) should submit a requirement to allow
pointers to be operands for defined operators.
