Dear Dick,

I hope you remember me. Yoko and I were in Berchtesgaden last week. We came
back to Japan on Sunday. Hideo Wada also attended the meeting and is still in
Munich on his business.

As you may know, WG5's 1995 spring meeting is planned to be held in Japan. At
the brief presentation of that planned meeting, Wada-san suggested that April
or May is best to meet in Tokyo. But, if my memory is correct, he mentioned
nothing about our Golden Week. Most Japanese people will take vacation during
the period from April 29th to May 8th, 1995, because of many holidays. Also,
the planned meeting place will probably be unavailable. I've just been aware
of that.

I'd like to let Jerry know about this, in order to arrange X3J3 meetings in
1995 so that WG5 can avoid Japanese Golden Week. Everybody in Brussels,
including himself, may be able to read emails, so I'm forwarding this to the
WG5 mailing list as "CC:". If it isn't the case, could you give him this
information?

Best regards,
Makki
