Subject: 93-007 now available
X-Charset: ASCII
X-Char-Esc: 29

To X3J3 and WG5 -

An ascii version of X3J3/93-007 is now on the X3J3 FTP server
(ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu) in directory x3j3/93-007/ascii-version.

The 007 is the standing document number for the draft standard.
This is the first version of this document since the Fortran 90
standard was published, and it incorporates the edits from 006.
It hasn't been checked carefully, but should give you some idea how
how document might look (sans fancy formatting) with those edits made.

My copy turns out to have a number of character glitches in it,
possibly made during transmission or decompression, I'm not sure,
but it is (more or less) readable. (Let me know if you get a
clean copy, and maybe I'll try again.) In the future we expect
to place postscript and source versions of the 007 on the server,
as well as the ascii version.

Regards.
Jerry
