I want to share this, because I think all who helped create
Fortran 90 & 95 should be pleased and proud when things
like this happen.

It looks like I failed to teach how to write "Fortran",
however :-(.

=================================================================

Hi Walt.

I'm sending along this email for 2 reasons. First, to tell you once
again how much I enjoyed the advanced FORTRAN course you presented for
us in Chalk River. Since then, I've taken what is probably an
unprecedented step in safety analysis legacy codes. I've made an
addition to a 30-year old code using the O-O capabilities in
FORTRAN-95. Using a module, with private data members and access
routines is almost unheard of in our environment, but it seems to be
working flawlessly with all the advantages inherent in the FORTRAN language.
