Subject: WG5 Ballot on Responses to Defect Items

A WG5 distribution will go out in tomorrow's post. It contains the most recent
version of the Defect Report Index, N865 or X3J3/93-006 (formerly S20), and a
ballot on the responses to items that have the status "X3J3 approved; ready for
WG5". There are 70 such items. The closing date for the ballot is March 12,
1993. On each item, you may vote yes, yes with comments, or no; a no vote must
be accompanied by reasons. Ballots may be returned by email. For the
convenience of those who may wish to vote by email, a ballot form is attached.
Send completed ballots to jtm@llnl.gov.

Following this ballot, those items approved by WG5 will be forwarded to SC22 for
further processing as Fortran 90 defect management items. Items not approved
will be returned to X3J3 for further consideration.

The distribution also contains a reprint of N820a, the WG5 Strategic Plan, as
it appears a page was missing from the previously distributed copy.

==== WG5 informal letter ballot on N865 items.....closing date Mar 12, 1993 ====

The titles of the 70 items are listed below, "Y" indicates the "Yes" column
(without comments), "wc" next to "Y" represents the "Yes-with-comments"
column, and "N" indicates the "No" column. Comments or reasons may be inserted
after each item.
