Cutting and pasting is not a programmer's job--it is error prone. There is 
nothing lazy about ensuring consistency by not redeclaring things twice.
I am not arguing in support or against anything here, just pointing out that 
this is *not* about laziness or diligency...it is about programming 
styles...and some people have different ones then you.
