Rounded to the nearest K, 2003 _is_ 2K (regardless of which definition of K 
you use).  Rounded to the nearest integer, 2003 _is_not_ 2000.  That is why 
I find Fortran 2K tolerable even though I find Fortran 2000 
undesirable.  However, if none of the others in the Fortran 2003 camp feel 
the same way, my suggestion is useless as a compromise.
