One confusion seems to have resulted from my failure to adequately co-ordinate this. N1528 is just an earlier draft of N1529. They differ only in that N1529 added 2 edits at the end (and N1528 seems to have gotten a less informative title). I'd suggest just ignoring N1528, or perhaps John can delete that paper and reuse the number for something else.
