I would like to point out that this is a terrible time to issue a letter
ballot. No doubt many people will be on holiday during this time,
including myself. In fact, I will be out of the office after Dec. 11 and
won't return until Jan. 5. If you issue the letter ballot on Monday, I'll
have about 2 days (or less) to look it over and return it. Chances are I
won't be able to do it.

I would respectfully suggest that the letter ballot deadline ought to be
extended at least a week, so that we have a chance to get back after
Christmas and still have a little time to get the ballot returned. Two
weeks would be even better.
