I'd planned to leave Peggy at her sister's in So CA and go to the
Reunion by myself, but now she says she wants to cut down on mileage by
coming with me so we can drive directly home afterward.

She'll enjoy the non-technical parts (which is most of the weekend) and
she'll bring a book to read on Sat am, but just in case some other
spouses plan to attend, maybe all can do something non-technical that
morning. (I know Sat 0900 - 1130 is not necessarily the greatest fun
hour for the Strip, but there are alternatives.)
