There is now more information about the reunion.

I seem to have lost a couple of folks (e-mail)
recently. Andy Tait's e-mail no longer works
and George Paul does not respond. If anybody
can contact them, please do.

It appears that John Backus will not come.
He said he would call and let me know and I
haven't heard from him, so ...

I have located John Lauer; he promises to
check his supply of punch cards for possible
use as name tags. I phon^H^H^H^Hrang Alan
Wilson, got his answering machine, and left
a message.

Jerry has promised to try to locate some more
of the old timers. We still need more contact
information. If the person is not in this
lest of e-mail addressees or on the WG5 list,
or somebody has sent me a phone # or address,
they haven't been contacted.

All the details are on the web site:
http://www.fortran.com/reunion/

Here is the agenda as it stands:
http://www.fortran.com/reunion/agenda.html
We have time for one more item, perhaps.
I have asked Rob to try to locate the IBM
film that was shown at the joint conference
honoring the Fortran pioneers in 1982.

Here is a list of those who are coming</a>:
http://www.fortran.com/reunion/attendees.html

Please e-mail any pictures you have of people at
X3J3 or J3 meetings and they will be posted on this site
and we can make an album of them for the party.

Or just bring paper copies of the photos and we
will display them.

It is time to commit!
I (Walt) have put down deposits for the activities
requiring money and need to figure out how many are really
planning to come. So go to the
http://www.swcp.com/fortran-bin/fortran_store/commerce.cgi
Fortran Store,
put "J3" in the Search box and purchase your items.
Make sure you pick a meal for M&S; you get chicken
by default if you don't.
If you and a friend want different things, you can
"Add To Cart" two M&S items with different options.
Ignore the "Taxes and Shipping" buttons.

If you do not want to pay by credit card, you may
send a check in US$ on a US bank to

Mallory North
823 South Walnut
Brazil, Indiana 47834

If you do this, go through the same steps at the Fortran Store,
but just before confirming your order, print out the
form and mail a copy of it with your check to Mallory.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We will return any money if it
is possible to do so without costing us anything.
Within two weeks should be no problem.

If there is any money left over, it will be
donated to FIDS or some other worthy cause.

If you have questions, please send email to:
