FYI-
1. A more complete list of your transportation options may be found on the
airport web site -- www.mccarran.com. If you're on a tight budget, you can
get a shuttle to the hotel for as little as $4, but it may take you an hour
or more, because of the wait to catch a shuttle and because drivers seem to
like to drop off passengers at the strip hotels first and hit the Residence
Inn, Hughes Center on the way back to the airport. [Although I personally
find the shuttle services adequate for transportation from the airport to
the hotel, I would advise caution about using them for the return trip;
they seem to have trouble keeping their promises about when they will pick
you up at a hotel.]

2. Whether you take a taxi or a shuttle (or ask for instructions to drive a
rental car), it is _critically_ important that you include the "Hughes
Center" part when saying where you want to go; there is another, older
Residence Inn further from the airport. If there appears to be any
confusion about your destination, you might want to add that it is near the
corner of Paradise and Flamingo.
