I am more than happy to have the whole of the 007 pdf in a single file. In
fact I would much prefer it this way as the extract from the compressed form
is very much easier. I am using a PC and winzip8.0. This is a full GUI which
is great for multiple files from a single archive but a pain in extracting
single files from multiple archives. It handles tar and gz just fine.
In principle, a single file pdf should be better for navigation but the
current version has no bookmarks nor any links from contents pages to
sections. With a single file version in pdf it should be possible to have the
contents page on screen as a set of bookmarks providing navigation links to
the whole document. The separate chapter version we have had to date
generated via frame only had current chapter bookmarks and some of them were
strange to say the least. Now we have no bookmarks at all.
If this problem can be fixed I would vote strongly for a single file pdf
distribution.

P.S. it would also be very useful if the index could be made to provide the
appropriate pdf page links. I am sorry I have no idea how to do this via a
tex to pdf converter.
