Though there is some commonality, it appears that each network has its own form of Message-Id, and I can't tell if there's some underlying standard or not. Does anyone know of any work on email message id standards? In many of the Message-Id's below there is an "AA" field. Does anyone know how the value of this field gets set? This value doesn't appear to me to be globally unique, but it's no doubt locally unique in some sense; does anyone know the "scope" of the "AA" field? Thanks for any light you can shed.
