The proposed changes represent a change to the standard that is too
significant for an interp. Also, the discussion appears to be focused
on INTEGER arguments, though REAL arguments to MOD and MODULO are also
supported. Division by zero is supported for REAL values on some
architectures.  It would seem that the current "processor dependent"
text would be preferred in that case.


000092:

The proposed change represents a significant improvement and should be
made in the F2K standard. However, the change introduces too great of
an incompatibility with the current standard to be made through an
interp to F95.
