Most publications on Fortran 90 are of a fairly technical
nature. Those of you looking for something more accessible, perhaps
for executive consumption or for students, might like to note the
article that will appear in the New Scientist on 12 September.
I hope purists amongst you will excuse its somewhat superficial
style, but such were the guidelines.

I shall be absent from 5 to 15 September.
