Subject: Papers for WG5 Cadarache Meeting

The Cadarache meeting is now exactly four weeks away. However, I shall be
in the USA and Canada from June 1st to June 10th, so I would be grateful if
any papers which members wish to put on the WG5 server before the meeting
could reach me by Thursday May 27th so that I can put them on the server
before I leave for the USA. (May 31st is a public holiday in the UK so I
may not be at work)

As a reminder of the procedure - anyone wishing to place a paper on the
server should first obtain a number for it from me, by email.

The paper should then be sent, with the number at the top right hand of
page 1 in the form ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22/WG5 Nxxxx; if the document is
formatted then the number (Nxxxx) should be in a large size (e.g. 24
point). It is helpful if the document number could also appear on all
other pages, above the page number - although in these cases it does not
need to be in a larger point size, of course.

The document should then be sent to me in one of the following forms:

1. Send the document in ASCII text, PostScript or pdf format by ftp to
<com1.etrc.ox.ac.uk> with a username of WG5 and a password of Fortran;
note that the password is case sensitive.

You will be connected directly to the New_WG5_Papers folder and can
put as many files as you wish there.

Please send me an email when you have done so so that I am aware that there
is something to be put on the server.

If the file is a large one then it should be gzipped before sending. (It
doesn't make much difference to me, but it may simplify transmission for
you!)

2. FOR TEXT FILES OR PDF FILES ONLY, you may send them as attachments to
an email message. This is slightly less reliable, in my experience, but
usually works OK. However, please do NOT send PostScript files this way.
