Subject: Japanize the F95 draft
Reply-to: hayashi@lp.nm.fujitsu.co.jp

Dear members of WG5 and X3J3,

We Japanese wg5 members are now translating F95 draft into Japanese.
In the process of the translation, we have a few questions/comments
about the draft.
We'd like to make sure them, thank you for your help.

1) 2.5.7 Intrinsic
The draft says,"Intrinsic applies to data types, procedures,
assignment statements, and operators. All intrinsic data
types, procedures, and operators may be used in any scoping unit
                 ^
without further definition or specification."

We think the words `assignment statements' need after second
`procedures,', where marked with ^.
We also think the `assignment statements' here should be
`assignments', because sometimes the words `intrinsic assignment(s)
...' are used in the draft.(See 7.5.1.5)

2) 9.4.1.7 End-of-record branch
In the draft,"... and no error condition (9.4.3) occurs during
execution of an *input/output* statement that contains an
EOR=specifier".

We think `input statement' instead of `input/output statement'.
We could not find the examples of output statement.

3) obsolescent features
We'd like to get a list of the obsolescent features in F95.
We use F95 text format file in our translating, so we are afraid
that we miss the font size of the obsolescent features in Japanese
F95 standard. We will be careful about it, but we'd like to have
a way to check automatically.

Is is OK for us that the list has:
 a) The features that newly get obsolescent in F95
 b) The features that are obsolescent in F95 (From F90 to now).
# We want both:-)
Do anyone have the list?

I personally think it is better to make a box or something for
obsolescent feature rather then to change the font size.

Thank you and regards,
Masakazu Hayashi
