The March issue of the ACM Transactions on Mathematical Software has an
article that may be of interest regarding object-oriented programming
with Fortran 90.  The article is "Fortran 90:  An Entry to Object-Oriented
Programming for the Solution of Partial Differential Equations", by L.
Machiels and M. O. Deville.  They are from the Swiss Federal Institute
of Technology in Lausanne.
