Some good news--

ISO, Geneva, has responded to my proposal to distribute
electronic versions of the standard. They want to try
it (as I suggested) as a test to determine if there is
a market for such things. They have agreed to do it
just as I proposed, except that they want to raise the
price slightly to USD 125 to make it comparable to the
paper version.

They are preparing an official agreement; I will let you
know all the details when they are firm. Thanks to
those who have supported this idea (Keith and Jerry,
in particular) and Mike for finding the right contacts
at ISO in Geneva.
