As you may have noticed from the maps in the mail out, the College
is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Victoria. In addition,
we are in an area where there are almost no restaurants within reasonable
walking distance and there are only a small number of restaurants
 within a few minutes drive.

Our preference is to offer lunch at the College.
Unfortunately, because the College has only a small number of
kitchen staff, extra help would have to be hired to handle the
extra load and consequently we can offer this service only if
a large majority of the attendees are willing to participate.
If a sufficient number of people are interested, on Monday July 27th
we would sell tickets for the entire week. Since it may not
be convenient to have lunch here on Wednesday, the cost for the
week would be either $28 or $35. I emphasize that the alternatives
 are:
    1. buy a meal ticket ($35) and have lunch at the College the entire week,
    2. drive to a restaurant every day.

If there is enough interest we will arrange for lunch to be served
at the College in the castle. This is a five minute walk
from the meeting room. Lunch will be served
style lunch. The menu will vary from day to day, but generally would
include a hot entree with vegetables, a salad, a choice of desserts
and coffee/tea. Beer and wine can be purchased separately. We could
eat in the castle or on the terrace. There would be ample opportunity
to walk through the gardens or the grounds during the lunch break.
Indeed, one of the advantages to having lunch at the College is that
it is in a very pleasant setting.

If there is not enough interest, everyone will be on their own to
 find a restaurant.

Please let me or Bert know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE by return e-mail whether
 you are interested.

Will buy $35 (maybe $28) meal ticket for lunches
