 I like it.  (however, I personally would have problems with Jan-May-Sep as I
would not be able to attend Sep meetings and would have trouble with May.)
With regard the question of "enough" meetings, I think there is a sort of
Parkinson's law in effect: you will organize your work to get done whatever
needs to be done in whatever time you have to do it.  If there is not enough
time at the meetings, people will do more in other ways.
