They built an adobe fort which now serves as a visitor center. These settlers lived here by farming the area using diverted water from a nearby creek. This park is currently under development to include more historic interpretations and re-created features. The park is open all year. Located in Las Vegas at Las Vegas Boulevard and Washington Avenue.
