I=92m afraid Arm hosting again in 2025 isn=92t possible. Were getting ready=

office is rammed and meeting space heavily oversubscribed (I don=92t think =

I generally agree with those who find fault with a meting that overlaps wit=
h July 4. If the meeting ends up in Berkeley. since July 4 is a major holi=
day in the US. , i assume there would be issues with the Lab being potentia=
lly closed.

If we have the meeting in the UK, Manchester (ARM hosting) would be more co=
nvenient as several of us already =93know=92 that city from a past meeting =
there,

I would note that we had a meeting once at a University campus (TU-Dresden =
in Germany) and it seemed to go OK.

During this year=92s Supercomputing Conference (held in Atlanta) a group of=
us over lunch discussed possible alternatives for locations. Based on thre=
e criterion (a large enough convention center, lots of hotel rooms, and war=
m weather in November - at least predictable) we narrowed the list of two c=
andidates; Las Vegas and Honolulu. Both are easy for travel, though Hono=
lulu can tend to be a bit expensive.

I=92m still not clear on why our June meeting needs to have a J3/INCITS com=
ponent as opposed to being fully a WG5 meeting.

Cheers,
BIll

(Writing from Honolulu where the daytime highs are still in the low 80=92s =
(F), even in December.)
