 From what I can see, reading Microsoft's terms for its fonts, embedding 
the font in a document is acceptable as long as the application doesn't 
allow the font to be extracted. Font redistribution FAQ - Typography | 
Microsoft Learn 
<https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/typography/fonts/font-faq>  The more 
important point is whether the environment in which Malcolm runs the TeX 
tools has that font already, or if it has to be obtained separately.

That said, a statement from ISO on this would be appropriate.
