    <div class="moz-cite-prefix">To address a question I received -
      N2193 says that the deadline for making a hotel reservation is
      June 24 - this is still correct. However, UCAR has been asked by
      the hotel if some of the originally blocked rooms can be released
      earlier. The block was 25 rooms and it does not seem as if we'll
      need all of those, so I have suggested the block can be reduced to
      15. (Three of those attending in person aren't using rooms in the
      block.)</div>

    <div class="moz-cite-prefix">Given that we don't have a lot of F2023
      business, I'd like to spend as much time as possible discussing
      possible F202Y features. I earlier pointed you at a list Ondřej,
      Zach and Gary had compiled
      (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://gitlab.com/fortran-lang/github_stats/-/wikis/j3-04232022">https://gitlab.com/fortran-lang/github_stats/-/wikis/j3-04232022</a>),
      you may have some thoughts of your own, and we know that generics,
      pointer intent and protected components/types will be on the list.
      I'd like each attendee to bring a list of five features you'd like
      considered and we can discuss. We'll start with these and continue
      to refine the list over the next year. <br>

      <p>Hi all,</p>
      <p><br>
      </p>
      <p>For a while, it looked as if UCAR/NCAR was not going to allow
        us to hold our July meeting there - Sidd and I were waiting for
        a decision today and, unexpectedly, we are still allowed to have
        the meeting in-person (there will also be virtual attendance.)
        Everyone who participates in person will be required to sign a
        document attesting to their vaccination status - this will be
        sent out later. Of course, if you start feeling ill you should
        not attend a session.</p>
      <p><br>
      </p>
      <p>It is important to note that THINGS COULD CHANGE, so it is
        advised that you make refundable travel plans. UCAR/NCAR will
        not reimburse you if it turns out that in-person is not allowed.</p>
      <p><br>
      </p>
      <p>I have been asked to provide a list of in-person participants -
        please reply only to me (don't just hit that reply button!) if
        you plan to attend in Boulder (see <a moz-do-not-send="true"
          href="https://wg5-fortran.org/N2151-N2200/N2193.txt">N2193</a>
        for Local Arrangements.) I need this by Monday, May 23, as
        unused rooms in the hotel block have to be released by the 24th.
        It would best to respond sooner rather than later. Thanks.</p>
