I received five responses to my request for selecting 2022 joint meeting dates. I assigned 3 points to first choice, 2 points to second choice, 1 point to third choice - added up the points and divided by 5 (maximum would be 3.0). The July 18-22 selection won with a score of 2.4 - the other two choices each had scores of 1.8. Save the date(s)!

As you might recall, we had agreed to hold the 2022 WG5 meeting (next year!) at NCAR in Boulder, Colorado, USA. The initial dates we picked in June turn out to be unavailable for enough meeting rooms, according to Sidd. Alternatives are July 18-22, July 25-29 and August 15-19.

If you have a preference, please send mail directly to me (steve@stevelionel.com, not the list) with your choices labeled as 1, 2, 3 in order of preference. For 2023, I'd like to try again for Manchester, England, hosted by Nathan. This may depend on what happens with the acquisition of ARM by NVidia, though...
