INCITS LB7458 - Appointment of Brian Friesen as the Chair of INCITS/PL22.3, Programming Language Fortran closed on November 13, 2020. Brian Friesen received the required level of support (majority) to secure appointment for a first term as Chair of INCITS/PL22.3, Programming Language Fortran. Brian’s first term begins immediately and will expire in November 2023.

As required by INCITS procedures, for a new officer that has not previously held the officer position appointed or elected to, training shall be required within three months of approval or appointment. As Brian Friesen is starting his first term as Chair of INCITS/PL22.3, Programming Language Fortran and has not received INCITS Officer Training, he must receive INCITS Officer Training not later than February 16, 2021.
