RESOLUTION 20 – 16 JTC 1/SC 22 agrees to add to its program of work the 
revision of ISO/IEC 1539-1-2018 Information technology — Programming 
languages — Fortran — Part 1: Base language.Noting the following:

• Project Editor: Malcolm Cohen
• Project plan: 36 months
• Target dates: WD June 2021, CD Dec 2021, DIS Dec 2022, and Publication 
Dec 2023
• Confirmation the revision will not expand the scope.

This serves a call for experts for the revision of ISO-IEC1539-1:2018. 
National bodies should add their national experts to ISO Global 
Directory for SC 22 WG 5.
