Regarding uncertainty in future travel due to the pandemic:

My advice and strategy for other ISO meetings has been to seek hosts who
own or can provide a venue space. E.g. conference facilities at a corporate
headquarters or someplace like Berkeley Lab. This means the host doesn't
have to commit a large sum of money to secure the venue.

I think it would be good for future WG5 (and PL22.5) meetings to allow for
remote attendance so that no one feels required to travel. If funding is
needed to make that happen (purchasing telecon equipment, renting it from
venues, service fees), I will commit to covering that.
