The deal I made with my boss when I started Fortran work in 1997 was about 10% of my yearly hours. That's what INCITS asked for. That would be 220 hours. Three meetings amounts to 120 hours. I spend some work hours on Fortran e-mail, such as this one, but typically not 100 hours per year. But I do spend a lot of time at home, much more than 100 hours per year, instead of watching television or going to movies.
