Tom,

Thanks for getting this started. Alison is coming but has developed 
mobility problems since last year - she has a hip replacement scheduled 
for Aug. 22 and she has knee problems too. Of course, she wants to join 
in, but is also wary of holding others up. It needs to be worked out - 
for example, she could take a taxi while others take the metro.

The best way to contact her is by phone (44) 7835 950325. She also uses 
the joint email to which I am copying this, but I will be taking our 
laptop to the meeting.

Steve and I are giving talks to the Japanese on Aug 2, so Alison and I 
will be in the hotel over the weekend. It would be good to meet then if 
you arrive early enough.
