According to the ISO portal, the FDIS ballot for Fortran 2018 closed on 
November 9 and was "approved". I assume that at some point I will be 
sent the actual vote and any comments, but for now it looks like 
publication will indeed be in 2018!

Thank you to EVERYONE who contributed, and special thanks to John Reid 
and Dan Nagle who led the WG5 and J3 efforts over the years.
