Hi,

Thanks to all of you who responded regarding site access to LBNL. I
submitted all respondents' info to the site access office, who began
issuing passes yesterday. If you don't have yours yet and responded to my
original inquiry, or if you received a pass but it is incorrect (the dates
are wrong, you requested a parking permit for your car but instead only got
a shuttle pass, etc.), please let me know.

There remains one outstanding issue to which there is no simple solution,
which is that the LBNL shuttles do not run on the weekends, rending
transportation to and from the Guest House problematic during the weekends
which bookend the meeting.

For those without a car, taxis and ride-sharing services can get you as far
as the lab gates, but after that you will need to walk from the gate to the
Guest House, which is up a bit of a hill.

For those with a car, this is not an issue - you are free to come and go on
the lab campus as you please, as long as you have your pass with you.

I draw attention to this due to the meeting which precedes the WG5 meeting,
during the weekend of 9-10 June. For those staying at the Guest House
during that weekend, you will need to use one of the above solutions for
getting to and from the lab. I would encourage those of you who have rental
cars to carpool with those who do not.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
