I have uploaded to the J3 web site paper 18-156
(https://j3-fortran.org/doc/year/18/18-156.txt) with an initial list of
recommendations from J3 to WG5 for new and changed features in Fortran
202X. As is usual, other countries will have requests of their own - the
sooner WG5 sees these, the better the chance of their being considered.

Please be prepared to discuss these recommendations in Berkeley. There,
J3 will work on formalizing a US proposal N document. Towards the goal
of getting this revision done within a few years, I am planning on
having a final list of features by the end of the Tokyo meeting in 2019.

Steve

P.S. Only two non-J3 WG5 members have requested a login for the new J3
web site. You will need this if you expect to be uploading J3 papers, or
will be viewing/uploading to the meeting working folders (the old SFTP
"member" thing). If you will just be reading papers, no login is needed.
Send me mail directly if you want a J3 login.
