Van talked to Philip Sharp at the IFIP WG5 meeting in Halifax, where Philip was on sabbatical. Philip says "Standards New Zealand (SNZ) acted remarkably quickly for a NZ crown entity. I have been added to the ISO Global Directory as a New Zealand member of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 22/WG 5, and SNZ has agreed to accredit me as a New Zealand representative at WG5 meetings. This accrediting will be done meeting by meeting. I will not be attending the London meeting next month because I just found out about it two days ago and I am unable to re-arrange my August commitments.
