Subject: (j3.2006) (SC22WG5.5325) J3/012 Emeritus members list

I misrepresented the intent of the 012 J3 standing document. It is used to keep track of
emeritus members of J3. And I thank you all for your corrections to the list. The
revised document is attached.

If so, then this is a major departure from the original purpose and scope of the 012
standing document. As shown by the versions of 012 from 2008 and before, the original 012
standing document was "Friends of J3" and it included all former members that were still
living and had verifiable contact information as well as some other notable contacts. To
verify this statement, please look at those versions of 012.

Who authorized the change in the scope of 012 and why?

FYI - the concept of "friends" of J3 {and WG5} is implemented in the usual J3 list we all
use: j3@mailman.j3-fortran.org . Lots of friends are on it evidenced by the responses
from former members that I got in helping clean up 012.

Thanks /Stan

It would still be useful to have the additional contact information for all persons who
qualify under the original selection criteria for 012, i.e., 2008 and before.

Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns that you may
have. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Craig T. Dedo, CAPM
